About us

Le Petit Monde has been developed by Tania Czajka, a native French speaker and qualified nursery nurse, living in Edinburgh for 20 years.

The philosophy of Le Petit Monde is based on a simple concept, which we are proud to put in practice through puppetry before anyone else.

Our stories are in English, carefully dotted with French words repeated throughout.

Children enjoy following Lapin (who only speaks French) and his friends (who speak both languages) in their adventures, often without realising they have just learnt something new.

Developing language skills becomes effortless and such FUN !!

At Le Petit Monde, we thought puppet shows were great but not enough !

So we have developed various programmes of classes and workshops to suit nurseries and primary schools. We use puppets, props, toys, objects to make our sessions a visual, lively and memorable French experience. Voilà !
